The Pros and Cons of Replacing Your Bath With a Shower

There's a common assumption that bathrooms are supposed to have baths, and if you're the traditional type then this is most likely going to be the case. However, more and more bathrooms are getting rid of the bath and just keeping a shower, and this is for a variety of reasons that will be explained in this Hub. If you're lucky enough to have two bathrooms then obviously you can try both out, but this is for those who only have enough space for one or the other.

Personally we got rid of the bath in our bathroom years ago, and while you sometimes miss it there are plenty of benefits to going down this route. When we did have a bath we also had a shower, so you could obviously go down the showerbath route if you want both. The option to use either is great, but if you want the proper shower experience and want to take advantage of the benefits listed below then you're better off getting rid of the bath altogether.

Many of us have dreamed of designing and building our own truck camper.  One moment you’re sitting in your dinette looking at the kitchen thinking, “Why didn’t they put another cabinet right there?” and the next you’re drawing a truck camper floor plan on a napkin.  We have certainly inked a few ideas this way over the years.  Then the reality the of cost and time involved in such an endeavor hit us.  If truck campers could be built in Photoshop, we would make the world’s greatest truck camper .  Until then, we’re probably just dreaming.
