Take Bath Mat-ers Into Your Own Hands

The bathroom is its own kingdom and for this challenge, we want you to create designs for our bath mats and shower curtains that will transform this space into your own personal 24/7 artsy spa. Create a design for one of our newest canvases, the bath mat, that outlines where your feet should go, or flaunts a nautical all-over pattern. Or perhaps go with a shower curtain that makes you feel like you’re literally singin’ in the rain, or features a pattern that keeps your brain occupied while you're on the John.

Remember folks, keep it classy, and shower us in creativity!

Today I’m sharing how to install tile flush with hardwood floors, like I did in my bathroom.  Can you believe the Jack and Jill bathroom finally has floors?  I’m making slow but steady progress.  The vanity area of the bathroom has a combination of hardwood and tile.  The room that contains the shower and toilet is all tile but it butts up to the wood in the other room.   Install Tile Flush with Hardwood Floors" /> I wanted the tile to be flush with the hardwood floors so I installed the tile on LATICRETE STRATA_MAT™ XT   .    It helps create an even transition between typical ¼” to 3/8″ thick tile and 3/4″thick hardwood flooring.  The STRATA_MAT XT replaces 1/4″ thick cement board — it’s much lighter, easier to cut and installs with just mortar (no screws required). install tile flush with hardwood floor" /> Installing STRATA_MAT XT I cut a piece of STRATA_MAT XT to fit in the powder room.  Then I test fit that piece and cut out the vent and toilet drain hole .  I

Ken “Bear” Iddins of Buffalo Hats reveals his unique eight-foot custom Six- Pac shell model with an extremely custom, tricked-out, and modified interior.  Are those really stained glass windows ? Many of us have dreamed of designing and building our own truck camper.  One moment you’re sitting in your dinette looking at the kitchen thinking, “Why didn’t they put another cabinet right there?” and the next you’re drawing a truck camper floor plan on a napkin.  We have certainly inked a few ideas this way over the years.  Then the reality the of cost and time involved in such an endeavor hit us.  If truck campers could be built in Photoshop, we would make the world’s greatest truck camper .  Until then, we’re probably just dreaming. Then again, what if we could buy a shell and then have it custom up-fitted to our exact specifications?  That eliminates the need to design and build the exterior structure and allows us to focus on the interior we’ve always wanted.
