U enter the bathroom where the sink and toilet is, then you pass a door to enter a shower room where there is a shower head next to the bathtub(you can do hand wash laundry too!) but is long enough for you to shower in the bathtub. There is no curtain between the bathtub and the shower area. But there is a segregation between toilet and shower/bath area.

Can a modern freestanding bathtub also be a shower?

carriejlb June 6, 2012 I am remodeling a small bathroom and picture a simple, modern, freestanding tub. There is no room for a separate shower, but I thought I could have an external shower head and suspended oval shower -curtain rod like you often see with clawfoot tubs. But I can't seem to find pics of a similar set up. Is it possible??? Why or why not? Here's an image of the tub I wanted and an example of the kind of shower set I envision. Thanks!!!
