DIY Shower Curtain In this house, we take baths seriously. My boys would spend hours every day in a bath tub, if I let them. {when will the pool open again?  maybe i should start a “Pool Opening” countdown. haha} So having a good looking shower curtain in their bathroom was a high priority…..because I knew I was going to be seeing a lot of it. So I made this simple striped  DIY shower curtain for their bathroom in December…..in the middle of all the holiday craziness….So I am just now getting around to posting about it. {i swear it takes me an entire month to get things back under control around here after Christmas.} And of course I’ll show you how I sewed it! This is the boys’ bathroom. I am in the process of decorating it…. I still need to paint the walls and decorate…. BUT I got the shower curtain done, so that’s a start. Cleaning steps : 1 Remove the plastic shower curtain liner and place it in your washing machine. Along with your regular laundry detergent , add 1 cup of baking soda, 10 drops of tea tree oil and two towels (bath mats with a terry texture will work, too). Wash on the gentle cycle in cold water. As the detergent and soda’s cleaning capacities and the tea tree oil’s antibacterial properties go into action, the towels will softly scrub the liner’s surface and cushion it from damage. 2 Remove the liner from the washing machine and hang it back up on the shower curtain rod to dry. (Put the towels through the dryer as you normally would.) 3 To maintain a clean liner, wash it every three months or so. COLUMBUS — A 43-year-old Columbus man faces eight counts of unlawful intrusion involving two adolescent girls in connection with a police search of his family home last spring that uncovered hidden surveillance cameras planted in bathrooms that were used to spy on the young victims. My family likes to have annual summer vacations and this year it was decided we would take a river cruise in Europe, specifically the "Paris and the Heart of Normandy" itinerary that sails the Seine river in France.
