It’s 7’8″ by 24′. This is perfect if you’re a couple considering going tiny or someone who just needs a little more space. Last week I showed you the McG tiny house plans . Today I’m showing you yet another option from Humble Homes. This one is for those of you who like the idea of a sleeping loft with a ladder. The BRV2 Tiny House I like the BRV2 because it makes great use of space and separates living and sleeping. I also really like the french doors near the kitchen and living area. Sometimes, it’s the heart and sweat that makes a dream home, not the size. Homebuilder Patrick Romero is putting boring two-story homes to shame with his newest miniature home on wheels. It’s complete with a bedroom loft, a beautiful kitchen, and a bathroom that rivals those of full-size homes. Romero and his wife, Sarah, live in Sandy, Utah, and set out to build a gorgeous and functional home that could also move along with them. The house itself is no bigger than a food truck, but it’s truly remarkable what the Romeros were able to do with the space. Several commenters have been blown away by the final project, no doubt stirring a few feelings of envy. Kelly & Her Home When house hunting, one of the most important things to consider is if a house has "good bones," which means it has many of the most desirable aspects that a home can offer (think: natural light, a comfortable layout, etc), even if those things are difficult to see at first. This term is particularly useful when viewing a house that is very old and run-down, needs a lot of work and is outdated. Lucky for Kelly Portnoy of The Good Story, she was able to see past the intense smells, stains and many other issues of one particular house. She says that even though it was unlivable when she first saw it, she and her family loved it and saw the potential it had.
