Needing help with half bath reno ideas!!

LStafford August 14, 2017 LAYOUT DESCRIPTION DUE TO NOT HAVING PHOTOS: Okay, so my home is a 1985 colonial, and our main floor layout is a bit awkward. The front door opens into a foyer, to the left is the formal dining room , to the right is 1 of 2 entrances into the great room, as well as the stairwell. Continue forward and you will see the back doors which are located in our kitchen. If you then go right from our kitchen, there is a tiny hallway that leads to the 2nd entrance to our great room. Now... here is where it gets awkward. Our great room is rectangular with a fire place in the middle of the exterior wall (you can see the fireplace from the kitchen), there is also a half bathroom located between the kitchen & great room with the door opening up into the great room. Across of the half bathroom door , is the door to the utility room. I do not mind the utility room's placement, however I'm becoming more and more bothered with the half bath.
