Celine Lacroix August 15, 2017 Selecting finishes for a new master bath. I am thinking that we will just do 60" shower since there is already a bathtub in the house and this would make the home more accessible if there is someone with mobility purchasing it down the line, but we could easily do a bathtub as well. I think black/blue slate floor would be gorgeous and fit well with the style of the home, and i found some affordable tile in a 6x24" size that would be more interesting than 12X12. For the vanity, we could technically fit a 60" vanity but it would really crowd the bathroom i think, so i was going to use this espresso vanity, and maybe switch out hardware for brushed nickel to keep in line with rest of house. For the shower, i originally found this MAXX Utile Marble Carrera surround , that is not real marble... they will save us money on the install, but will they look tacky since id be using real stone for the floor (the slate)?
