Where To Buy A Bathroom Suite?


I have just re-done my main bathroom and made an ensuite. I was on a bit of a budget but the main bathroom in total cost me about £2500 and the ensuite about £1500

I got my taps and shower (Grohe and Hansgrohe) from Good advice. Great bathrooms. Reuter bathrooms, your specialist for sanitary products and bathroom design. They are in Germany and so there is no import tax or anything to pay. I ordered on a Tuesday and they were delivered on the Thursday! Unbelievable!

I bought a P shaped bath and screen form a company in Leeds, I thought I was getting a bargain at £360 but when it arrived the quality was shockingly bad and the feet didn't fit, I'm still chasing a refund 3 months on. The bath I ended up getting was a Cleargreen Ecoround and the quality and ease of fitting was excellent, that cost nearly £600 but definitely worth it over the other bath.

Shower tray and sliding door for ensuite I got from bathrooms.com and again pretty straight forward to install, sink unit was from Victoria Plumb.
Both toilets came from Bathrooms.com and the sink in the main bathroom was from Sherdley Bathrooms, I did over indulge on that one but it fills the space nicely.

Tiles were quite expensive and I paid to have them fitted as I'm not confident enough to tackle tiling just yet. Flooring for both was another £200, paint is Little Greene which is a bit expensive but gives a very good finish. I tried the Valspar paint B&Q is knocking out and it was terrible.

Can a modern freestanding bathtub also be a shower?

carriejlb June 6, 2012 I am remodeling a small bathroom and picture a simple, modern, freestanding tub. There is no room for a separate shower, but I thought I could have an external shower head and suspended oval shower -curtain rod like you often see with clawfoot tubs. But I can't seem to find pics of a similar set up. Is it possible??? Why or why not? Here's an image of the tub I wanted and an example of the kind of shower set I envision. Thanks!!!
