Scotch-Brite Bathroom Solutions Products – Review, Coupon & Reader Giveaway

Don’t you just love cleaning the bathroom?  They say that it’s hard to sense sarcasm in the written word, but if you didn’t get it in that first sentence then something is wrong!  I don’t just dislike cleaning the bathroom, I hate it!  The number one reason I was happy about getting a water softener in our house is that it is easier to clean the bathroom and I have to do it less often.

All that being said, it’s great to find products that make bathroom cleaning easier.  Scotch-Brite has come out with a whole line of Bathroom Solutions products, each one designed with a specific task in mind.  I received a full set of the products below and have to say that overall I am very impressed.  They include:

Scotch-Brite™ Reusable Counter Cloth

I think my favorite has to be the Nook & Cranny Scrubber.   The little tips fit in the smallest of places and the curves of the edges wrap right around faucets and handles. The Streak-Free Mirror Cloth was also awesome for getting the mirror clean and shiny without any annoying streaks. It also shined up the metal faucets very nicely. The only thing I didn’t really like was the Non-Scratch Shower Scrubber. It has an extendable handle designed to let you clean from the ceiling to the floor, but I found that the cleaning surface wobbled back and forth too much to have any control.

Can a modern freestanding bathtub also be a shower?

carriejlb June 6, 2012 I am remodeling a small bathroom and picture a simple, modern, freestanding tub. There is no room for a separate shower, but I thought I could have an external shower head and suspended oval shower -curtain rod like you often see with clawfoot tubs. But I can't seem to find pics of a similar set up. Is it possible??? Why or why not? Here's an image of the tub I wanted and an example of the kind of shower set I envision. Thanks!!!
