Bathroom Makeover " src="http://madincrafts.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/DIYBathroomMakeover_thumb1.png" alt="DIY Bathroom Makeover " width="700" height="1049" style="border: 0px;" /> This is such a happy post for me!  First, because our bathroom makeover project is FINALLY DONE and, second, because I don’t have to keep any of it a secret anymore.  If you follow me on instagram, you have been getting some blurry hints about the big reveal but now I can share all the DIY projects that went into transforming our “fine” bathroom into a gorgeous space. Because our bathroom was basically fine in the first place, the room just got a makeover not a renovation.  I don’t have the budget or the DIY skills to lay tile or replace a toilet.  In fact, all of the larger pieces of our bathroom were left in the room.  I didn’t even paint the walls because they had just been painted two years ago when we moved in.  That doesn’t mean I didn’t p...

How to Install the KBRS Tile-Basin®

Gambar
Custom shower pans the best option if you want a 100% waterproof shower. Recently Steve had to remodel a bathroom that had a leaky fiberglass shower pan . The prior installer did a poor job and the homeowners stop using the shower after water leaked into the kitchen ceiling. NOT GOOD!! Today we’ll show you how to install KBRS’s Tile-Basin® shower pan. Any DIYer can do this project in just a few hours and with minimal tools. KBRS: What’s the Story? Many homeowners have shower pan leaks . KBRS approached us to try their shower pans. At first Steve and I weren’t too excited – a lot of companies tout their product as the next godsend. You can understand our skepticism. After extensive research we decided the KBRS Tile-Basin® would be a good fit for one of Steve’s clients. First off, there are no seams in the pan. Plu...

After posting my revised layout for the bathroom  and considering your comments, I am thinking more about the size of the shower.   I like my new layout, but there is only so much space to work with. I’m afraid the shower might not be large enough — and making it larger would force a smaller vanity. Originally, I wanted to convert a 52- inch retro dresser — which I scored on craigslist for $25 — into my master bath vanity . I still like the idea, but I’m also thinking about other options. Regardless of what I end up doing, I still did the research. I went online, reviewed about 15 different tutorials, and narrowed them down to the ...

Baby Onesies Flower Gift Basket DIY

Gambar
Yep, baby onesies turned flowers . One of my favorite baby shower gifts has been a cupcake onesies gift box . And when my neighbor announced she was pregnant and having another boy, I wanted to make one for her too, but with a little twist. I think because Spring is here and the flowers are blooming, I thought maybe I could turn my cupcake onesies into a cute Spring flower basket . I rolled them just like I did my cupcake gift boxes . If you missed my original post and tutorial for this go here. But this time I arranged them in a basket with cut paper leaves and fun flower cupcake liners . In the cupcake onesies gift boxes , I usually roll up 4 baby onesies with 2 pairs of socks, place them in cupcake liners and decorative wraps and package them up in a cute cupcake gift box . cupcake onesies baby shower gift idea" width="650" height="1728" /> This time, I turned them into flowers but using the same basic technique. I used a cute basket and flower cupc...
