I used to use Keri lotion a few years ago but stopped. I have no idea why. I guess I moved on with experimenting. However I'm glad I got a chance to remember how very good Keri is for my skin! And it's just in time for the dry winter months that turn my brown skin to ash and wrinkles. I'm getting older, forever 29 , and it's best to keep my skin moisturized both inside and out. I have to admit; I'm a lazy moisturizer. I still have that feeling of immortality and you know you never see yourself aging until one morning you wake up and wonder who is that person staring back at you! One Inola woman is taking the farm-to-table movement a few steps further—to the shower. Stephenie Simmonds, the owner of Cypress Scents, handcrafts goat milk soap , lotion and an entire line of shaving and bath products. And she's doing it all from her farm in Inola. She moved here from Louisiana four years ago and brought the venture with her. "I milk my goats every morning. I bring the milk in and make products in the afternoon," she said. "People like the farm to table—or farm to shower—movement. I delivered three baby goats the other day, came in and cleaned up, then made product. It's just another part of my day. I have been coloring my hair pretty regularly since I was about 21, maybe a bit younger. I am 27 now. So that’s at least 6 years of chemically treating my hair. I really don’t need  to color my hair, I don’t have any grays, and based off of other family members, I don’t think I will start to get any until I’m close to age 50. My dad really isn’t very gray at age 51, and I still don’t think my mom is at age 50. Crazy, right? As a makeup artist, I have always had a love for the art that comes with hair color and makeup. For myself, I really have never done much to my hair besides darken it for a richer color. Highlights never seem to flatter me, and I would get bored with my natural medium-brown color, so darkening it was always my preference. The problem with color is that it is really hard to stop coloring your hair once you start. After a few weeks the color fades, and you are left with hair lighter than when you started.
