Timothy Harold Esser , Libey Ensley Esser & Nelson, Pullman, WA, for Respondent. ¶  1 Jacob Sterling Houvener , a student at Washington State University , was charged with residential burglary .   Relying on his Fourth Amendment presentation , the trial court suppressed the State's evidence. 1  WE CONCLUDE THAT The evidence was properly suppressed because it was unlawfully obtained by police when an officer conducted a building-wide search of the interior hallways of the dormitory without a warrant.   We therefore affirm. July 5 0802 - A 911 misdial was received from subject at the Tony’s bar. She stated that everything was okay, and that she was by herself. She stated that she accidentally pressed the automatic 911 button on her flip phone. An officer was advised. 0805 - A purse was turned in at the grandstand that was found by the Van Gilder Hotel . The owner was contacted and stated she would come pick up the purse. Columbus man faces 8 felonies for spying on girls | Crime and Courts

COLUMBUS — A 43-year-old Columbus man faces eight counts of unlawful intrusion involving two adolescent girls in connection with a police search of his family home last spring that uncovered hidden surveillance cameras planted in bathrooms that were used to spy on the young victims. The defendant, who is not being named to protect the identity of the victims, is charged with eight Class IV felonies , each punishable by up to two years imprisonment, 12 months of post-release supervision and a $10,000 fine. The local man, who is free on bond, will be arraigned on the charges Friday in district court. He is under court order not to go within five blocks of the family home and have no contact with his wife or the five children in the home, three of whom are the defendant’s biological children. Bath Salts Zombie Attacks Pennsylvania Hospital Staff, Woman Gave Birth Two Days Earlier

Two days after welcoming a baby boy, 31-year-old Carla Murphy of Altoona, Pennsylvania smoked bath salts and attacked the maternity ward staff at Altoona Regional Hospital . The Daily Mail reports that on June 17, the new mom was found sweating and acting aggressively by nurses, and was then found naked and rolling around on the shower floor. According to the Altoona Mirror, police were called after hospital staff reported Murphy to be shouting, cursing and being aggressive with several nurses. The woman appeared to be confused, and was unable to answer basic questions asked by staff. Murphy gave permission to police to search her belongings, where authorities found a dismantled black pen with residue of a substance inside. Police also discovered a package of Disco with white substance inside and a lighter in her possession.
