How to Perform a Cleansing Ritual Bath for Renewal

Do you ever feel extra delicious after taking a shower? All of your muscles, skin, bones, and fascia feel like they’re much more integrated with each other than when you first entered, no? In fact, you may feel calmer, more level-headed, and your body may feel less tight. When we shower or take a bath, it is to cleanse our body of impurities, and we often just perform this as a task to get ready for work or bed, or as a midday refresher post -workout. My doctor changed his mind and started me on doxy 2xs a day for 60 days. I read the tips in the getting started thread for doxy. I had severe nausea and diarrhea for about an hour after taking it and then that went away and I was feeling good. I've been detoxing for about a week before starting the abx that included Epson salt bath everyday . I just got out of my first epsom salt bath after starting abx and I am really nauseous. This hasn't happened with the previous baths . Any thoughts? Aromatherapy Associates Article added on January 5, 2010 A history of Aromatherapy Aromatherapy dates at least back to Ancient Egypt. Embalming, mummification, fragrances for daily life, bath oils as well as the use of aromatics in incense and medicine flourished. The Greek, the Romans, the Persians, the Chinese and the Indians, to name just a few, added to and refined the knowledge. In the 1880s, the German physician Robert Koch and subsequently his French colleagues Chamberland, Cadéac, Meunier, Blaizot, Caldagues and Bertrand proofed the antiseptic and microbicidal properties of essential oils. The term “Aromatherapy” is fairly recent. The French chemist Ren é-Maurice Gattefossé (1881-1950) coined it. Working in the family's laboratory, the perfumer studied the medicinal properties of essential oils. In 1937, he published his knowledge in Aromathérapie, les huiles essentielles , hormones végétales , regrouping previous publications in one book. The other fathers of present- ...
