Bath Shower Home Design

After a few days of chaos, stress, illness & fun, it feels great to take a moment to decompress & share something I’ve been excited about completing – our half bathroom. In the midst of chaos, I find sanity in organization, peace in pretty. Even if the rest of me feels out of sorts, at least this little half bath doesn ’t. I often start projects – multiple at one time, never truly finishing one. Do you do that? I decided that this Spring, I would take some time to complete each space, giving each the finishing touches I always intended to, but neglected to do in favor of a new project {#celebratehome}. One of my friends has towels stacked in a symmetrical pile in her bathroom “for display purposes only”. Which is half the function of bath foam, really, as its packaging should look as good as it feels to wallow in clouds of fragrance and froth. In fact, since 1997 I’ve had two elegant glass decanters filled with colour- coordinated bubbles perched , unused, on the corner of my bath. Too posh to pour, they’re supplemented by the cheapest but bubbliest of bath foams – usually Radox which, for a couple of pounds, is just as good as expensive ranges and always smells wonderful. Sadly, the packaging reflects the price, so it still gets transferred into an old spa-brand jar that looks (and is) far more expensive.  But the selection here combines bubbles with “kerb-side appeal” for your bath. Just make sure you pour the bath foam in as soon as you turn both taps on, full blast, to get the water churning and generate the frothiest foam from the littlest amount of often-expensive liquid.
