Our shower has a wall- mounted mixer tap independent of the bath taps. W hen it is turned right over to hot it is still not hot enough, at least in the winter, so we turn up the heat regulator on the combi boiler to get hot showers. However, that then means the water coming through the kitchen tap is very hot. The shower is on the same floor as the kitchen and only slightly further away from the boiler.
