DIY Bathroom Remodel - Before & After

Gambar
The bathroom is finished! Woohoo! I’m so excited to be done!  I now have two whole rooms that are completely finished in my house.  😀  And they just happen to be the two most challenging — a total gut and remodel of a kitchen and a bathroom.  The rest of the rooms should feel like a walk in the park after these! I started this remodel on January 22nd — almost exactly six months ago — and have been working on it off and on since then. I took a break during my father-in-law’s two-week visit in March, another break during my two- week blogging break , and yet another break while I finished up the condo. Design help - Attic bath with sloped ceiling

ideashare June 22, 2015 Bath is 5'4" x 11'4", 28" entry door opens into left side of room in front of vanity. Most of the drywall "walls" (not ceiling) have been removed with the exception of a few inches around the vanity & toilet. The current vanity is 36"W & a 22"D x 21"W drywall closet with door has been removed. This drywall closet covered up the Pointy Area in the ceiling. I would miss the function of the linen closet, but removing it has made the room look better and feel much less crowed especially to the side of toilet. I tried shopping for a 36" vanity and 15"W linen closet, but did not know they only seemed to come in 90" 88" 84". Thought of sawing the top off, but afraid I would ruin the cabinet. If I go with the linen closet look again, had planned to drywall the top pointy area above it. The bottom of the pointy area begins @ 79". The bath goes from left to right - old 36"W van...

Bathrooms / By Jennifer Malise / November 5, 2015 Before & After: Laura and Peter’s Uptown Bathroom Renovation – Sweetened! Laura and Peter bought their one-bedroom, one-bathroom co-op on Manhattan’s Upper East Side in 2013. During the apartment hunt, this arts professional and consultant pair decided they really wanted a home with an in-unit washer and dryer. Some buildings allowed washers and dryers and some did not. Still others had flip-flopped on the matter altogether: buildings that once allowed in-unit washers and dryers later changed their minds—grandfathering in appliances installed before the change while banning newcomers from adding them. When Laura and Peter sealed the deal on their new place in a building that allowed laundry appliances , the hustle was on to install a set pronto, before any potential shift down the road. “Our expert team was so helpful — Ed and Valeria did a lot of really beautiful work and were easy to get in touch with while we weren’t livin...
