So far, the CPSC has received 91 incidents of the sling detaching, including 11 reports of infants who got bumped on the head. These motorized whirlpool baths are battery-operated and meant for kids from birth to 2 years old. The model in question has a fabric sling where you place your child, rather than a plastic clip, which is sturdier.
