Everyday Cheapskate: The wonders of Epsom salt

I can recall vividly — and count on one hand — the migraine headaches I’ve had in my life, all of which were before age 10. Once I turned double digits , I outgrew them ... until a couple of months ago. With no warning at all, there I was back to my 8-year-old self, flat on my back with a raging migraine. Last night marked the first real snowfall here in Minneapolis. Although there are just a few inches on the ground, the transition to winter is evident. The air is crisper and chillier, and I find myself reaching for gloves every time I go out. Soon enough, I’ll be well into my first Minnesota winter. Uh oh 😉 … Cue the hot tea, cozy sweaters, and of course, some warm soups and stews. Bundling up and nourishing ourselves with hot foods and drinks is a sure way to stay warm in the winter, but we can also bear the cold by taking an occasional bath . While soaking in hot water is a great way to unwind and relax, adding epsom salts to a bath can provide even more benefits. Epsom salts are made from magnesium and sulfate, dissolve easily in water, and are readily absorbed through the skin. Soaking in an epsom salt bath  is an alternative way to take in magnesium, a mineral that is essential to overall wellness. Epsom salts are a natural replacement for commercial bath salts that may contai...

My doctor changed his mind and started me on doxy 2xs a day for 60 days. I read the tips in the getting started thread for doxy. I had severe nausea and diarrhea for about an hour after taking it and then that went away and I was feeling good. I've been detoxing for about a week before starting the abx that included Epson salt bath everyday . I just got out of my first epsom salt bath after starting abx and I am really nauseous. This hasn't happened with the previous baths . Any thoughts?
