I recently had occasion to stay at the Sheraton Mahwah for 7 contiguous nights while in the NY/NJ for business and, overall, it was a great experience. The hotel is an interesting place as it is half office complex and half hotel. The bottom floors seem to be offices while the top is dedicated to hotel rooms - the top floor (22) has the lounge and Platinum-level rooms. There are also meeting and convention rooms and facilities on the first two floors. I had the occasion to nose around and was impressed by all of the facilities. They have recently completed a sweeping remodel of the hotel facilities and it shows: Rooms: The beds are comfortable with no lumps and are obviously new. The sheets were crisp and clean. The pillows were soft with no smell or scent. I had a nice table/desk for calls and laptop work (I am a California business owner so would come back to the hotel at 5 or 6pm EST and work with my staff back west until midnight or so..).
